GTSC is excited to offer the following activities and excursions during the 2025 Annual Meeting!

EXHIBITOR Sip & Stroll*

GTSC will hold its  annual Exhibitor Sip & Stroll (formally Exhibitor Wine Walk), exclusively for medical professionals and our exhibitors! After the Thursday educational program from 5:15pm - 6:15pm, medical professionals are invited to gather in the exhibit hall where they will be divided among the exhibit tables. Once the event has begun, attendees can enjoy a sample of the provided beverage while listening to the exhibitor's 2–3 minute 'elevator pitch'. After three minutes, attendees will move onto the next table. New this year, we'll be offering a prize package to 1-2 lucky individuals who stop by each booth!

GOLF TOURNAMENT*

Join us for GTSC's Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, March 7th at 12:15pm ET, located at the Spanish Wells Golf Club (about 15 minutes from the hotel). The Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club features 27-holes of Championship Golf. Tropical palms, mature oak trees, and diverse water features define the landscape of a course that embodies the natural beauty of Bonita Springs.

The cost is $165/player and includes green fees, golf cart, boxed lunch, gratuity and applicable taxes. Club rentals will be available onsite for $35. Transportation is on your own.

Prizes for Top Team, Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin will be given during our Gala Dinner on Saturday evening. All skill levels welcome!

Guided Eco Kayak Tour*

Guided Eco Kayak Tour of Big Hickory Island and the beauty of the Florida coast. Using top of the line Hobie Kayaks this tour is an exceptional experience. You will make a stop at a secluded beach accessible only by kayak or boat providing a peaceful and exclusive experience.Marvel at the mangrove tunnels and keep an eye out for Dolphins, Manatees and other diverse Floridian wildlife.
This excursion will take place on Friday, March 7 from 1pm - 3:30pm ET. Transportation leaves from the lobby. Kayaks have a maximum weight capacity of 400 LBS and a maximum seat capacity of 275LBS.

The cost is $115/adult and $75/child (ages 3 & up) and includes transportation, all equipment, dry water bags, seat cooler with ice, bottled water, round trip transportation and tour.

IMPORTANT: A minimum of 25 registered adults by February 10th is required for this excursion to take place. Max of 55 attendees total.

Hermit Crab Racing

On your marks, get set, crawl! People of all ages will have the opportunity to participate in this inter-active and entertaining activity. Happening during our Friday evening dinner, participants will get to select a crab of their choice from a stable of over 100 hermit crabs. Cheer for your crab as it races towards the center of the table. There will be 12+ matches throughout dinner with each winner receiving special crab racing memorabilia. Please note: no crabs are harmed in any way!

This event is included with your meeting registration. All ages & skill levels welcome!

Sun Rise Yoga*

Join us Saturday, March 8th at 6:15am for sunrise yoga at the Hyatt Coconut Point. Attendees will meet in the Cypress Courtyard where Master Yoga Instructors will lead you through a one hour total body stretching and coordinated breathing experience. Start your day feeling refreshed and centered in a peaceful, natural setting.

This event is included with your meeting registration includes a yoga mat and bottled water. Max of 40 attendees total. All ages & skill levels welcome!

Fishing Charter Excursion*

Join us Saturday, March 8th from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM for an exciting fishing charter excursion in Estero Bay, where you can reel in Snook, Redfish, and Trout among the mangroves and grass flats, or target Shark, Grouper, Snapper, and Jack Cravelle in the passes. This adventure is perfect for both seasoned anglers and beginners.

The cost is $275/person and includes transportation, gear, a boxed lunch and bottled water. Please consider bringing a gratuity for the charter captain.

IMPORTANT: A minimum of 8 people is required by February 19th for this excursion to take place.

Dolphin & Wildlife Cruise*

Join us on Saturday, March 8th from 1 PM to 4 PM for a private Dolphin & Wildlife Tour exclusively for GTSC members. Cruise through one of the world’s largest dolphin-populated waters as friendly and knowledgeable Naturalists guide you through the area’s natural beauty and diverse wildlife.

The cost is $205/adult and $110/child and includes round trip transportation and gratuity.

IMPORTANT: A minimum of 30 registered adults by February 19th is required for this excursion to take place. Max of 49 attendees total.

Lazy River, Waterslides & Pools

Hyatt Coconut Point offers the largest resort poolscape in Southwest Florida. Enjoy three acres water attractions including a meandering Lazy River, five waterslides including a pair of dueling speed waterslides an inner tube waterslide (48” height requirements). Lounge poolside near the Waterfall Pool deck, enjoy the Adventure pool featuring the Ciquala waterslide for little ones. You can also enjoy their scenic lap pool and hot tub.

Nature Boardwalk Trail and Island & Beach Excursion

Take an educational walk through the mangrove forest on Hyatt Coconut Point's nature boardwalk trail, which ends at the marina. Education signs all along the path share interesting facts about the birds, fish and creatures you may see, as well as the environment.

Once at the marina, board the free ferry (reservation required) for a 15-minute crossing of Estero Bay. Along the way, spot dolphins and other wildlife, until you arrive at the hotel's private beach. Spend the day shelling, enjoy beach chairs & umbrellas and more. Book your passage in advance with the hotel concierge.
